I was never looking for someone to come save me
I know I’ve slipped far beyond that
You were never the knight in shining armor type
Maybe I loved you because of that
I wasn’t looking for a solution to my problems
Only a remedy to ease their pain
I gave you everything I could
Focused on you to keep me sane
