Constellations
Watching and waiting
Eyes on the skies for fireworks
But it's just us, it's always been us
Written up there in the stars
Covered in tattoos
But you can't commit
Just a glimpse or two of you
My Hailey's comet
But there's billions of stars
Galaxies unseen
And I'll find you again
In the next life or the next dream
What a tangled web we weave
Spun up in the constellations
Cut me down but don't catch me
Time to rewrite my expectations
Maybe the stories up there
Are all played out
If it's destined
There's no room for doubt
So I'm writing my own next chapter
And the heavens can take note
The past may be written
But my future hasn't been wrote
